* Day 2 of skipping injections due to TOM *
Ugh, gained some more this morning -- 0.4 lbs. Terribly discouraging, of course, but I am certain that it is water and it will come back off in a few days. I was hoping that flooding myself with waters and teas would help, but it hasn't appeared to do that. I'll just have to wait it out.
I'm going to try to go back to the basics today. I'm going to stick to the protocol right down to the letter -- no mixing of veggies even! Hopefully that will help me get back on track.
On to today's menu:
1:30p: Baby Spring Mix Lettuce dressed with a
mixture of Spicy Brown Mustard and ACV
2:45p: Sections of half of a grapefruit mixed with
1/2 cup of nonfat cottage cheese
7p: One whole egg plus three whites
scrambled and topped with diced tomato
8:15p: Apple
Reflections on the day: I was pretty irritable during the day (par for the course when TOM is visiting) but strangely enough, I wasn't one bit hungry during the morning or even while eating my lunch. It might be because Sundays tend to be very hectic for me, and this one is no exception, so I again was experiencing the "I am too busy to eat" feelings through the majority of the day. In fact, the Grapefruit/Cottage Cheese I pretty much had to choke down. Food didn't sound appealing to me. Only water with lemon and Lemon Drop stevia sounded good. Then, around 6p or so I started feeling a little hungry, which was easily remedied with a little food. It was difficult for me to finish the apple, though, because I was feeling very full by that time.
I can't really explain the weirdness with being hungry yesterday and not today. Makes me think that what I was feeling as "hunger" was possibly more like cravings due to TOM, although I really did think I was hungry at the time.
Oh well -- I hope that sticking to pure protocol today will pay off tomorrow. 'Til then, later losers!
